Distant Horse Marathon are aimed at developing a horse’s long-distance stamina and a rider’s ability to properly assess and manage the horse’s physical capacity over the course. The marathon competitions are held in natural outdoor conditions on a specially marked route, with the time recorded and veterinary checks carried out throughout the entire event.
The endurance horse marathon is conducted over a total distance of 300 km in the team classification, held over three days, covering 100 km per day in two stages, with each stage measuring 50 km.
