World Nomad Games

The World Nomad Games is an international cultural and sporting event that brings together dozens of countries and hundreds of participants.
The Games aim to revive, preserve, and promote the intangible cultural heritage, ethnosport traditions, and cultural identity of the peoples of the world.
It is a platform where participants compete not only for victory, but also for the right to preserve identity, pass on knowledge, and build dialogue between cultures.

How It All Began

A journey that began in Kyrgyzstan and is recognized worldwide.

The World Nomad Games were first held in 2014 in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Since then, the WNG has grown into a large international movement, recognized by the United Nations as a platform for intercultural dialogue and sustainable development. Today, delegations from more than 90 countries take part in the Games. The competitions are held across different continents - from Central Asia to Turkey and Kazakhstan.

Ethnic Sports


Traditional sports rooted in the cultures of different peoples: wrestling, horse racing, animal hunting traditions, archery, and intellectual games.

It is a space where physical strength is combined with cultural heritage, and the spirit of competition goes hand in hand with respect for history.

Ethnic Culture

 

Festivals, the ethno-village, fashion, cuisine, and crafts recreate a vibrant and living cultural space.

This is not just a performance — it is a way to feel culture through its creativity.

Traditional Knowledge

 

Symposiums, conferences, and lectures reveal the philosophy of the nomadic world and the depth of accumulated knowledge.

These are knowledge passed down from generation to generation.
