A meeting was held between Belek Usenbekov, First Deputy Head of the International Secretariat of the World Nomad Games, and Matthew David Smith, Country Director of the Peace Corps in the Kyrgyz Republic. The parties discussed opportunities for cooperation and the participation of Peace Corps volunteers in sporting events during the 6th World Nomad Games.
The mission of the Peace Corps is to promote peace and friendship among nations through mutual understanding, cultural exchange, and volunteer service. These values closely align with the spirit of the World Nomad Games, which aim to unite countries and preserve cultural heritage.
It is worth noting that Peace Corps volunteers actively participated in Ordo competitions and intellectual games during the 3rd World Nomad Games, held in the Kyrgyz Republic in 2018.
