The International Secretariat of the World Nomad Games and UNICEF have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

The Public Association “International Secretariat of the World Nomad Games” and the UNICEF Country Office in the Kyrgyz Republic have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation in advancing children’s rights, cultural identity, and healthy lifestyles as part of the preparations for the VI World Nomad Games 2026.

As part of the partnership, the parties will jointly implement public-oriented initiatives focused on the engagement of children and youth, the promotion of inclusion, and the strengthening of intercultural dialogue.
A key focus of the partnership will be the participation of UNICEF in the “Birimdik Kerbeni – Caravan of Unity” project, involving the establishment of a “Children’s Yurt” within the framework of ceremonial water tribute events held across all nine regions of the Kyrgyz Republic.
This space will provide a safe, educational, and culturally enriching environment for children and their parents through traditional national games and creative activities.
The partnership builds on the parties’ previous successful cooperation and reaffirms their shared commitment to supporting children’s well-being, preserving cultural heritage, and strengthening social cohesion through sport and traditions.
