A cooperation agreement signing ceremony between the International Secretariat of the and the International Association “Kok Boru” was held in Bishkek.
The agreement was signed by Belek Usenbekov, First Deputy Head of the Secretariat, and Talas Kenzheev, President of the Association. During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation and implementing joint initiatives aimed at promoting the traditional sport of Kok Boru, as well as strengthening the international visibility and development of the World Nomad Games.

According to the agreement, the International Association “Kok Boru” will be responsible for organizing and conducting the Kok Boru competitions within the framework of the VI World Nomad Games. Among the key responsibilities are ensuring the participation of international teams, forming the panel of referees, and providing the necessary sports equipment.
Kok Boru is a traditional horseback team sport that is considered one of the symbols of Kyrgyz culture and an essential part of the program of the World Nomad Games.
The will take place from 31 August to 6 September 2026 in Bishkek and Cholpon-Ata. The Games program includes competitions in 43 traditional national sports.
