Mounted Traditional Archery is a traditional equestrian sport that reflects the martial skills of nomadic peoples. The rider must control the horse at speed while simultaneously aiming and accurately hitting targets using a traditional bow.

The run is performed along a specially prepared track, along which the targets are placed. The athlete must shoot while the horse is in motion, without stopping it.

Kyrgyz Style - Competition Rules:

The equestrian track is 100 meters long and 3 meters wide.

Target diameter: 50 cm.
